SD-WAN Solutions, Designed and Run in Canada

We design, build, and run SD-WAN solutions for Canadian networks, so branch traffic just works.

// THE WORK

SD-WAN solutions, three pillars, one operator.

One Canadian team owns your SD-WAN solutions end to end: design, cutover, and day-two running.

  1. 1

    Fabric design and app policy

    We map your transport mix, size the fabric, and write app-aware policy before a single site moves.

    designs reviewed by a CCIE
    100%
  2. 2

    Zero-drama cutover

    We cut branches over site by site, off-hours, with a tested rollback ready if needed.

    typical per-site cutover window
    90 min
  3. 3

    Managed SD-WAN and tuning

    We watch the fabric, tune the paths, and keep voice and SaaS on healthy links.

    monitored fabric, app-aware failover
    24/7
// THE PROOF

Built to last. Evidence-first.

Good SD-WAN solutions leave a WAN nobody notices: branches stay up, apps stay fast, tickets stay quiet.

// BY THE NUMBERS

By the numbers.

Targets we run to, not vendor slideware.

// IN PRODUCTION

Your branch WAN, quiet and predictable.

We don't hand you a fabric we wouldn't run ourselves. Every SD-WAN design gets a CCIE review, every cutover gets a rollback, and every path is judged by the app it carries, not the link it rides.

// THE DEEP DIVE

SD-WAN solutions in Canada, made real.

I run this service line, so I'll be blunt about what SD-WAN solutions in Canada actually take to get right.

It's the policy, not the box.

Good SD-WAN solutions aren't about the box, they're about the policy. The moving parts are transport (broadband, LTE, MPLS), the edge routers, a controller plane, and the rules that decide which app takes which path. Get the app-aware policy right and a voice call survives a circuit brownout without anyone noticing. Get it wrong and you've bought an expensive router with a dashboard.

Vendor-first, not vendor-locked.

We work vendor-first, not vendor-locked. Most Canadian branch networks we touch run Cisco SD-WAN, now branded Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN and still called Viptela by plenty of engineers, or Fortinet SD-WAN where security and the WAN edge share one box. Your real risk isn't the technology. It's the cutover, the day nobody planned the failover test, and the policy nobody wrote down. That's where we spend our attention.
Branch fabric
// THE METHOD

How an SD-WAN project runs in Canada.

We sequence the work so risk drops at every step, not just at go-live. First we learn your traffic and apps, then we design and get it reviewed, then we pilot one site before touching the rest. Cutovers run off-hours, one branch at a time, with data kept in Canada where you need it. Nothing scales until the pilot proves clean. That's how we keep SD-WAN solutions boring, in the best way.

  1. Step 01

    Discover

    We map the current WAN, list every business app, and measure what each site actually sends. Circuits, contracts, renewal dates, the lot. You get a picture of your traffic most teams have never seen, and it drives every design choice after this.

  2. Step 02

    Design and review

    We size the fabric, pick the transport mix, and write the app-aware policy. Then a second CCIE reviews it cold, before anything ships. Two sets of expert eyes on the design is the point, not a formality.

  3. Step 03

    Pilot

    We cut over one representative branch and run it for real. Failover gets tested on purpose, not hoped for. If the pilot throws surprises, we fix the design before the rest of your sites move.

  4. Step 04

    Roll out and run

    We schedule the remaining sites in waves, off-hours, each with its own rollback. Once the fabric is live, we can hand it back to your team or run it as managed SD-WAN: monitoring, tuning, and app-path health, 24/7. Your call, either works.

// QUESTIONS

SD-WAN solutions questions, answered straight.

These are the questions clients actually ask me before they sign. Straight answers from the engineer who runs the SD-WAN solutions work, not marketing.

SD-WAN is software that decides, in real time, which network path each app should take. That's the SD-WAN meaning in one line. Instead of one rigid MPLS circuit, you run several links, broadband, LTE, MPLS, and the software steers traffic by app and link health. Add WAN optimization and a video call rides the best path available, switching links mid-stream if one degrades.

It depends on site count and how clean your circuits are, but here's a real range. A single-site pilot runs 2 to 4 weeks from discovery to live. A 20-site network usually lands in 8 to 12 weeks. Cost tracks sites, hardware, and whether you want us to run it after. We scope fixed-fee where we can, so you're not signing a blank cheque.

Yes. For Canadian clients with data residency needs, we can keep controllers, analytics, and traffic inspection inside Canada rather than routing through US regions by default. That matters for public-sector work and any business handling personal data under PIPEDA. We map the data path during design and show you exactly where each flow lives, so residency isn't an assumption, it's documented.

Both, your choice. Plenty of clients want us to build the fabric and hand it to their team with the runbook. Others want managed SD-WAN, where we monitor the fabric 24/7, tune app paths, handle failovers, and manage the vendor relationship. We can also do a hybrid: we run it while we train your team, then step back once they're ready.

A working fabric plus the documents to run it. That means as-built diagrams, the app-aware policy in writing, a tested failover procedure, and a runbook your team can follow at 2 a.m. You also get the pilot results and the traffic baseline we captured up front. If we run it as managed SD-WAN, you get monthly reporting on top.
